At the Faye Knowles‑Chapman Foundation, our events mean everything to us. As a small, family‑run foundation, we don’t have big corporate backing or huge fundraising teams — what we do have is a community that shows up, supports us, and helps us keep Faye’s legacy alive. Throughout the year we host and attend all sorts of events, each one helping us raise awareness and support young women who need guidance, reassurance, and access to cervical cancer screening.
But there’s one event that sits right at the heart of it all.
Our Annual Ball
Every year, we host a charity ball — and it’s become one of the most special nights in our calendar. This year’s theme was a Masquerade Ball, and honestly, the turnout was incredible. The room was full of colour, music, and people who came not just to enjoy a night out, but to stand behind a cause that matters.
There were raffles, games, and plenty of activities throughout the evening, all helping raise money for the Foundation. Every penny goes straight back into supporting young women and girls — helping them access cervical screening, get the advice they need, and feel heard when they’re worried about their health.
A Night for Faye
What makes the ball truly special is that it’s held in Faye’s memory.
It’s not just a fundraiser. It’s a night where people come together to remember her — to share stories, laugh about old memories, and talk about how beautiful, full of life, and loved she was. For her family, it’s a moment where her presence feels close. For friends and supporters, it’s a chance to honour her in a way that feels joyful rather than heavy.
The ball keeps her spirit alive. It keeps her name spoken. And it reminds everyone why the Foundation exists in the first place.
More Than Just an Event
As a small family‑run foundation, we rely on nights like this. They help us raise the funds we need to continue our work, but they also help us keep Faye’s legacy growing. Every person who attends, donates, or even shares a story becomes part of that legacy.
The ball is a celebration — of community, of hope, of Faye, and of the young women we’re determined to support. It’s a night filled with meaning, warmth, and purpose.
And every year, it reminds us that Faye’s impact didn’t end with her story. It continues through every young woman we help, every conversation we spark, and every life we touch.
